Plant Vocabulary and Vowel Connection

This item provides handouts which asks students to look for words that begin with vowels and to identify the vowel in each given, science vocabulary word. Grade appropriate graphics are included to make this fun and enjoyable. This is a simple and effective way to review vowels and make connections to reading during science OR to science during literacy centers.

Words included are: flower, petal, stem, fruit, leaf, roots, seed, green, orange, sprout, seedling, sun, adult plant, cycle, plant, water, grow, and young plant.
