This vocabulary set includes all 12 animal pictures relating to "From Head to Toe" by Eric Carle with corresponding words written beside them. (The story itself is not included, but it can be found in many libraries.) The animals are the following: gorilla, seal, monkey, elephant, crocodile, buffalo, cat, camel, parrot, penguin, donkey, and giraffe. This is very helpful to younger children and ESOL students.
I use these to introduce the new words before reading, reconnect the vocabulary after reading the first time, use for retelling the sequence of the story, and to check for oral vocabulary after a few readings and vocabulary practice.
